The NEST goes to Les Fabriques in Charlottesville, Va., March 14-19. It's a week of fiber, gelatin monoprinting, easy sewing techniques and circular couture. Join us - even if you're not a sewer you can do all of these techniques. For info or to register go to . It's going to be great fun.

I'm a former china painter. Long before I painted walls and furniture I painted china, specifically porcelain jewelry, then custom tiles. I love anything porcelain or ceramic. This really appeals for me for both the shape, design and texture.

Wouldn't this be great at your front door?

I remember when you could get ice cream buckets from Baskin Robbins or other ice cream stores. Who has these now? Great storage idea for small pieces of fabric. I always have lots of those.
I love a pillow that sends a message!
